Quality Policy

CITCEA-UPC has joined the SAQRA system for quality assurance of applied research implemented by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Furthermore, the Management of CITCEA-UPC, once the documentation of the Centre's position on quality management has been completed, has defined the following Quality Policy:

  • The promotion of research and technological innovation.
  • The dissemination of knowledge in society.
  • The presence in professional and technical publications.
  • Maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Commitment to meet customer requirements and regulations.
  • The confidentiality and quality of the projects.
  • The professional development and motivation of the Center's staff.
  • Cooperation with external organizations to create synergies. 
  • The promotion of continuous improvement activities.
  • The optimization of commercial and marketing activities.
  • Identifying risks and taking advantage of opportunities.
  • Carrying out activities respecting the environment. 
  • The consideration of the gender perspective in the management and development of the Centre's activities. 

This quality policy provides a reference framework for establishing the annual quality objectives.

Incidents and Non-conformities

The incidents and non-conformities of the Centre's activities, according to the SAQRA system, are collected through the SAQRA form (UPC electronic headquarters).
